School Of Rock - The Musical San Jose Theatre reviews
You Wanted the Best
Wow! What a show. My son had a smile from ear to ear (except when they played Say Yeah...we both dont like that song). School Of Rock - The Musical has always been the highest standard of concert performance and they still are. Maybe Pauls voice is shot, maybe he uses tape to assist in vocals. They cant sing or move like they used to. I love these bands. The show is the band standing there playing their hits. But not School Of Rock - The Musical...no not School Of Rock - The Musical. As my fav rock stars get into their late 60s and 70s, i go see them...i have to. He sees a sad version of the bands i love, some of the time. I love the music. From the opening video to the band coming down blowing up the stage for Detroit Rock City right through to their triple encore, the energy of these 57 (Tommy) to 69 (Gene) year olds never slowed down for a second. I felt like a kid. He became a School Of Rock - The Musical fan at 3 years old. Not many can make that mark and most never even come close. They are old, the are tired. Those shows were awesome, but at that point School Of Rock - The Musical was just another rock band. I took him to see the School Of Rock - The Musical/Def Leppard show when he was 7. So ot only stands that we see The End of the Road Tour. I never saw the original lineup, because i really dont do reunion shows. Five of those were the no make up years. They are larger than life. There is true to...YOU WANTED THE BEST, YOU GOT THE BEST. THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!....School Of Rock - The Musical. Then my son was born in 2007. He stands on that stage and are larger than life. Those shows were awesome, but at that point School Of Rock - The Musical was just another rock band. I never saw the original lineup, because i really dont do reunion shows. From the stage setting to their banter they show every generation, for almost 50 years, how a show should be.
